Little Casper is only 15 weeks old. That is how old Junebug was when we got her. She wasn’t anywhere as near potty trained as Casper is now. He by no means is fully potty trained himself, but at least he knows the potty routine and can avoid a lot of accidents. I didn’t realize just how young he was when we got him at only eight weeks old. He seemed okay with it though. When we took him back the next week to see his mom and brothers, he wasn’t much interested in hanging out with them. Mostly he just wanted to cuddle in my arms. Hubby wanted a cuddler for a dog, and Junebug is just not one. She loves to sit in your lap, and she will tolerate hugs, but she won’t snuggle up under your neck. Casper can’t get enough snuggles. It’s funny how different those two pups are. Both super sweet though. I wasn’t 100% sure it was a good idea to adopt another pup, and it was a bit stressful in the beginning, but now I see it was the best decision I could have made. I am really looking forward to Casper being potty trained and being able to give him more freedom around the house. I can’t wait until we can put those rugs back! I miss rugs.
