First coat of paint is up and it’s looking…umm… bright. So bright. Don’t get me wrong. I like it, but it is bright. I think I had just gotten blind to the olive green that it was before, so I just have to get used to the new brighter blue. It was time for a change and this blue is it. Last week we were camping with friends and they were telling us how they planned to paint their family room and kitchen as soon as they got back. The idea was put in my head, and there was no escaping it. Hubby and I both knew when I saw their newly painted rooms, I would get the urge to update as well, so why fight it? Now I am just going to sit back, watch paint dry, and enjoy the brightness.
