My plans on making this the best Monday ever were crushed when I woke up and discovered it was Monday. It seems a bit cliche to hate Mondays, but I have discovered it really isn’t Monday’s fault. It’s Sundays fault. Hubby and I worked pretty darn hard this weekend power washing the house, getting it ready for BBQ season. I found myself at one point on the roof scrubbing a few skylights wondering if the extra piece of cake I ate the other day was going to be the straw that sent me falling through the roof. The creaking made me regret all the treats I had enjoyed lately and I vowed I would eat a carrot if I made it off the roof with no incidents. I am happy to report I made it and to celebrate I walked around the yard with no broken legs. Had I broken a leg I would have wished I could walk. So I was fulfilling a wish I would have had. It was quite a celebration. I walked all the way to a chair and sat down for an hour. WOOHOO!!!
