I feel like a bad mom. Any pictures that have been posted on Facebook of my baby bassets have been from other people. My news feed is filled with pictures of families enjoying all the holiday activities with smiling children, happy grandparents, and all of them dressed to the nines. I am pretty sure I have only brushed my hair four times this month and I am not all that sure when the last time I washed these jeans I’m wearing. Hmm…might want to think about cleaning them. Funny thing, I have been doing laundry 24/7 but I don’t seem to have clean jeans. Seriously?!! The other day my babies were bickering so much I sent them to my room to fold the large basket of clean clothes. Five minutes later I go in and find ALL of the clean clothes thrown throughout the room. Apparently they were having a clothes war. Two days later I am still finding my underwear in strange corners of the room. Thank Golly I know where my jeans are.

The Best of Fools (Jane Austen Book 2)

***Best when read after the prequel, No, Not that Jane Austen***

Jane Austen is nothing like that Jane Austen. Or so she thinks. Emotionally guarded and unwilling to open up to just anyone, Jane is surrounded by friends and family who seem obsessed with starry-eyed sensational romances. But as Jane explores the hidden chambers of her heart, she finds herself standing face-to-face with the love she’s spent her life avoiding. The kind of love that breaks you into a million pieces when it’s gone. The kind of love that softens you, hardens you, and changes everything you thought you knew. The kind of love that is asking her to risk it all and finish what she started. Magnetic, emotional, and profoundly moving, The Best of Fools is a timeless love story for the young at heart. A story that will stir you to place your book down and hold the one you love… without letting go. A story that will stick with you long after you turn the last page. Because love knows no end. And neither do the stories that convey what only the heart can understand. As Jane discovers, like the “real Jane Austen,” the colors of love are vast, no love story is the same, and sometimes all it takes is the right person to open you up to a world you never thought you’d find. A world you’ll never want to leave.

He’s worked for some of the most notorious super villains the world has ever known – Doctor Thalassocrat, Victor Soliman, Polonius Crump; Mark was with each of them when they met their makers at the hands of British Secret Service super-spy, Jack Tempest and lived to tell the tale – if not pay the bills. Still for every hour under gunfire there are weeks if not months of sitting around on monorails so Jones starts a book club with his fellow henchmen to help pass the time. It was only meant to be a bit of fun. It was never meant to save the world.
