It’s funny that I am excited about my partner in crime and her family going to a pet adoption fair tomorrow. They are looking to adopt a boxer puppy, and I will admit I’m a little jealous. I know I am an adult and can do what I want, so if I wanted a puppy I could get a puppy. The only thing is I really don’t want a puppy. Yes they are cute, but it really is like having a baby again, and I am a bit selfish right now with my time and energy. The very fact that I can plop my baby bassets in front of their video games and watch my favorite show, Daredevil, on Netflix and not be bothered the whole time is just too enticing. I am pretty sure a puppy would interrupt every awesome fight scene, asking for cuddles or to be pooped. I think if I ever were to get another pup, I would adopt an adult dog. For now though my pup Jethro is absolutely perfect. I am looking at him now and he hasn’t gone outside yet. By the look on his face he doesn’t want to go out until the weather is much warmer. He is willing to wait until Spring.

A Betrayal of Time is a story about Vivienne and Ray, who loved each other even before they knew what love was.

They belonged together. They knew it, and everyone who knew them knew it. But time didn’t. Or maybe time just didn’t care. It ripped them apart. Vivienne was left alone, without the one thing — the one person — she needed. Worse, she was the sole survivor of an unexplained cosmic event that folded time, transporting her 20 years into the future, when she was supposed to be long dead along with everyone else the event claimed. She didn’t know anything about time, except that it was her great betrayer. Still, no one else knew how to reunite her with Ray or with 1959. It was up to her to decipher the quandary no one had been able to resolve before: to bring predictability to the time space continuum, the one thing that could not be more unpredictable.
