What the heck was I thinking. Seriously! A friend of mine asked me if I would like to join his team in a friendly Crossfit competition at the gym he works at. It’s only for beginners and only for fun. That sounds like fun! Of course I will do it! Two days later I am thinking I must be crazy. I don’t want to get up early on a Sunday to exercise!! Wha..NOOOO! I have a very strict rule about exercising on a weekend. Once a year maximum at Tough Mudder, and they give me a beer in the end. At the event this weekend there is no beer…just fresh fruit. Fruit. I don’t want fruit. They will be handing out t-shirts, so that’s a bonus. I do get to see my old friends, so there is a good reason to get up. Fruit…no cake, no beer, and a bunch of exercises on a Sunday. Errrrrg.
